What I call urban archaeology has no archaeological aspect but is meant to show that the sites I visit are not the places a typical tourist would (want to) go to. I am very curious and adventurous when it comes to old places, forbidden spaces, ‘lost spaces’ as they are often called.

This page will be filled (linked) to my stories about places I went to visit abroad, that might be of special interest, some definetely hard to find or get to – or even forbidden to visit. Please do not follow my visits, do not enter any place that is forbidden to enter. This is just to show what was possible in the past.

If you have been to any of the places yourself lately, I really appreciate your comment and information about the present state!

December 2018: I will look for the original posts on other blogs and re-post them here as this is presently the only travel website maintained by me.
They may appear in German language.
